"Redim, make me rich"

Thereā€™s one common type of question Iā€™ve been getting a lot recently, but it has an uncomfortable answer.

It's the "Redim, make me rich" type questions that go something like this:

Redim, this is my situation [insert their unique situation, problems or disadvantages]. What business model/niche/service/silver-bullet-strategy should I pick moving forward?

===

Why an uncomfortable answer?

Because, sorry, but itā€™s the wrong question to be asking.

If you're asking this, you want a simple path forward, but if you hear me out, Iā€™ll give you what you need instead in shā Allah.

Firstly let's establish that you didn't sign up to become a creator because you want a glorified 9-5.

Not that there's anything wrong with working a 9-5 (for transparency, I work one myself), but that's not what I'm interested in teaching and those are not the type of clients I'm taking on in my coaching program either.

Because as a creator, you have the privilege to do work that only you are capable of.

And if there was an easy answer to this type of question... only the unoriginal, non-creative "creators" would flock to it it and inevitably become clones of one another (I've seen this happen in many circles).

In short:

If It Was Easy, It Would Be Hard

Because if it were easy, then everyone would do it. Everyone would become a commodity. Then it's no longer a desirable path.

If this email is coming across a bit more "tough love" than usual šŸ˜… now might be a good time for a reminder.

It's actually fantastic if you feel lost, confused or unsure of what to do next.

This is actually how you know you've struck gold! (If you can be real with yourself and take the initial ego hit).

Let me explain.

I said that the "Redim, make me rich" type questions are the wrong ones to be asking, so what should you be doing instead?

At every step of the way, the answer is to:

SOLVE. YOUR. OWN. PROBLEMS.

Not sure what niche or business to pick?

Solve your own problem, and sell the solution.

Not sure what the next step is in your business?

Stop looking for a new shiny object, start solving your existing problems instead (because new ones will always come up anyway, so you're just creating more problems without solving the ones at your current level).

Not sure why you aren't converting enough traffic into sales?

Identify the problem areas in your funnel or sales process and start solving them.

But how to solve a problem???

Ahh, now we're getting somewhere...

If you're on this newsletter, you're a creator in some way, shape or form.

Creators Must Exercise Creativity

Creativity is the simple way of solving any problem.

A 5-Step-Process You Can Follow:

1) It starts with identifying that you have a problem in the first place (a circumstance in your life that you'd like to change, remove or improve).

2) Then setting your intention to change it to your preferred reality (exercise your creativity; don't be shy to ask what you want from Allahā€”no du'a is too big for Him).

3) Allah created a mechanism in our brain called the Reticular Activating System (RAS) which filters all our experiences for what's important. Relax and go about your day as usual, trusting that your RAS will offer you up potential solutions.

4) Take note of any ideas that come to mind and implement the ones that seem best based on your own experience, intellect and importantly the advice of those more wise than you.

5) When new problems come up (they will), repeat this process.

It bears repeating that this is applicable at any stage of the journey, and honestly, to most areas of life.

So, what's your biggest problem right now?

Take 15 seconds and hit reply letting me knowā€”putting it into words might give you the very idea to solve it, or in shā Allah, I might be able to help youā€”Allāhu Alam.

As-salamu aleiykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, my halal creator friend šŸ™‚
