Daily tips, stories and inspiration to help you generate halal wi-fi money through your personal brand.
People who don’t create will never understand how much time and effort goes into building even the simplest one person business. Yesterday I wrote to you about the steps needed to make sure your emails don’t go to spam, and how I plan to create a resource around this topic for our Skool community. To be honest with you, looking at my to-do list has me stressed. (Jazakallah to everyone who replied helping me out with that!) It’s almost 2025 and there’s a lot that I want to get done in the next two weeks alone. You probably can relate if you’re on this list (you either joined my community, downloaded a product or joined directly, so you’re either a creator or thinking about becoming one). What I’ve learned though, is that it’s your mindset around things like this which is #1 thing that separates the successful from the unsuccessful. Every mindset problem has a proven solution. For me, the best weapon of overwhelm has always been chunking tasks down into smaller sub-tasks. When your mind perceives a problem as too big, it naturally will feel difficult to get started. But if you can break it down and only look at the small amount of work in front of you, it’s a lot easier. So, I’ve started using something called “The 12 Week Year”. It’s based on a book by the same name. The basic idea is that if you think a goal will take you 12 months to achieve, why not try to do it in 12 weeks instead? Sound counterintuitive? Try to do more to feel less stressed? lol The reason this works is because it forces you into clarity. Each week in your 12 week year must be planned out to impact your greater goal. Less overwhelm and higher effectiveness? Yes please.Would you like to use this yourself if I were to create an editable version of the planner you could copy? I created a form for you to register interest. Click the link below and sign up to receive updates (I'll only create it if enough people sign up): https://12weekyear.carrd.co/ Talk again tomorrow in sha Allah. As salamu aleiykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. —Redim |
